Come celebrate over 5 decades in Southern California with anniversary specials on July 23rd, including a $9.72 classic combo plate and $6 house margaritas.
JULY 15, 2025 - (SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA) – Few restaurants can say they’ve been a part of Southern California’s dining fabric for over five decades, but Rodrigo’s Mexican Grill is proudly doing just that. The beloved, family-owned Mexican restaurant group is marking 53 flavorful years of business this month, and they’re throwing a fiesta on Wednesday, July 23rd to celebrate. From humble beginnings in Orange in 1972, the Fraser family has grown Rodrigo’s into a community favorite, known for its classic, home-style Mexican dishes, vibrant hospitality, and timeless appeal.

To thank their loyal guests, Rodrigo’s is offering a nostalgic throwback special on July 23rd: the $9.72 combo plate, a nod to their founding year. Guests can enjoy a classic taco and cheese enchilada combo, served with rice and beans, one of the restaurant’s most popular and crave-worthy dishes. And what’s a celebration without margaritas? All-day $6 house margaritas will be flowing at every Rodrigo’s location, giving guests the perfect reason to raise a glass and toast to 53 years of flavor and familia. The Corona location will also feature local rock group The Darryls performing on both July 17 and 23, while other locations will host mariachi performances throughout the afternoon and evening on Wednesday.
Rodrigo’s is also making it easier than ever to enjoy their signature dishes anytime, anywhere with the Rodrigo’s Rewards app, available now on iPhone and Android. Guests who download the app gain access to exclusive rewards, offers, and loyalty perks, along with the convenience of ordering takeout with just a few taps. For families looking for extra value this summer, Rodrigo’s is also offering a Kids Eat Free promotion every Monday from July 14 through August 25th (with the purchase of an adult entrée).
With their deeply rooted family values, traditional approach to California Mexican cuisine, and a commitment to community, Rodrigo’s Mexican Grill is more than just a restaurant, it’s a SoCal tradition.
