The band, which is the alliance of 4 longtime friends from the Southern California hardcore scene, formed in Summer 2022 with the goal of making music at “full throttle’. From start to finish, the band simply writes songs that blow off as much steam in the shortest amount of time. Whether it’s a live show or listening to tracks like “Take It Back”, the listener is in for an intense ride and can feel the passion of Dave Rod’s lyrics and scream that is reminiscent of legends such as Sean Ingram or the late Caleb Scofield.

The name Greed Culture stems from the idea that the majority of the problems in our world and society are rooted in greed. We have the means and technology to repair a lot of major issues but that progress is almost always stifled by greed. That said, come to a show; you may make some new friends, run into some old ones, or leave with a few bruises and great memories. “Take It Back” is out today and ‘The Death of Us’ is available for pre-save on Apple Music and pre-order via Bandcamp.

“Everyone in the band has been in a slew of different types of bands over the years but we all started in hardcore. It's been a lot of fun tapping into our roots to make these songs come alive and when it came time to decide where and with who to record, working with long-time friend Beau Burchell was a no-brainer. He makes everything sound amazing and is literally the best guy. We are very excited to get these songs out into the world and start playing shows with our friends.” - Martin Diaz / Greed Culture (Guitarist)
