MAY 26, 2025 - (OXFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND) - UK alternative musical artist and supernatural influencer Brocarde returns with a vengeance on her latest single, Identity Theft, which was released on May 16th. The new track is a raw, emotionally charged anthem that cuts deep into themes of alienation, acceptance, and the chaos of growing into one’s true self. Produced by Chris Collier (Whitesnake, Mick Mars, Korn), Identity Theft blends theatrical rock and alternative metal with haunting melodies and a lyrical journey that begins at birth and storms through adolescence into adulthood, all with Brocarde’s trademark cinematic flair.

The music video for “Identity Theft” release alongside the single was shot inside Gloucester Prison—one of Britain’s most haunted locations. During the shoot, Brocarde claims the ghosts of the Kray Twins—notorious gangsters and former inmates—interrupted filming by headbanging to the track. The video features Brocarde writhing on an autopsy table and giving birth to a blue/pink alien, all layered in eerie, paranormal energy.

Known for her captivating blend of horror aesthetics and poetic lyricism, Brocarde has carved out a space uniquely her own—where the macabre meets the meaningful. With lines that resonate like a scream from the soul, Identity Theft tackles the deeply personal struggles of bullying, body image, and identity loss, all wrapped in an intoxicating soundscape that feels like a haunted fairytale. “There was an anger there, a deep frustration with pretty much everything,” Brocarde reflects. “I can hear that emotion penetrating through the lyrics.” The music of “Identity Theft” bridges genres that can feel theatrically influenced while also impressing fans of modern Woman fronted metal groups like In This Moment, Butcher Babies and New Years Day.

Brocarde’s personal journey—one that once made global headlines for her spiritual marriage (and later exorcism-fueled divorce) from a Victorian ghost—is as unorthodox as her music. But following that chapter, she’s returned to her first love with unwavering passion. Her past releases have earned praise from rock legends including David Coverdale of Whitesnake and Ray Luzier of Korn, both of whom have lauded her vocal dynamics and boundary-pushing storytelling. Beyond music, Brocarde is a familiar face on British television and a regular presence at horror and Halloween events in both the U.S. and abroad, where she shares her paranormal insights and interviews major artists at top music festivals.

With Identity Theft setting the tone for a powerful new era, Brocarde is already preparing to drop her next single, F.E.M.I.N.I.S.T, this July. She has also been in the studio throughout Spring putting final touches on dozens of new tracks to be included on upcoming releases later in 2025. With her signature mix of theatrical rock, bold visuals, and fearless honesty, Brocarde continues to push creative boundaries while empowering others to embrace their truth—even if it gets a little dark along the way.

About Brocarde:

Brocarde is a bold and boundary-breaking artist whose work fuses haunting aesthetics, theatrical fashion, and raw, passion-fueled music. Known for her striking visual identity and lyrical intensity, she creates a world where gothic romance and emotional chaos collide. Often described as a one-woman horror story, Brocarde’s unique blend of dark whimsy and poetic storytelling has earned comparisons to Edgar Allan Poe and Sylvia Plath, filtered through a lens of Victorian macabre and Addams Family flair. Her latest single, "Identity Theft," is out now and showcases her signature fusion of vulnerability, rage, and self-discovery—capturing the trials of growing up, not fitting in, and ultimately reclaiming one's power.

Brocarde made her musical debut in 2019 with Last Supper, which instantly turned heads with its twisted biblical visuals and eerie theatricality. She was quickly hailed as “One to Watch” by Planet Rock Magazine and has since attracted the praise of rock legends including Whitesnake’s David Coverdale and Korn’s Ray Luzier, who called her voice a masterful balance of "extreme sweetness and mass aggression." Singles like Love Me ’Til I’m Beautiful and Just Another Anthem further established her as a creative force, unafraid to push emotional and sonic boundaries.

Beyond the music, Brocarde’s real-life gothic tales have captivated the public—including her headline-making marriage to the ghost of a Victorian soldier named Edwardo. Their ghostly union, which played out on television and social media, ended in a dramatic exorcism and inspired a wave of new music. Whether she’s walking down the aisle on Say Yes To The Dress, sharing heartbreak on First Dates, or summoning spirits backstage at music festivals, Brocarde continues to turn life’s strangest moments into powerful, poetic art. With "Identity Theft" now available and a new single "FEMINIST" coming in July, Brocarde is firmly stepping into her next chapter—fearless, unfiltered, and entirely unforgettable.
