(FEBRUARY 4, 2026) San Diego, CA - Renowned tattoo artist Dillon Forte will host a special guest residency at Guru Tattoo in San Diego from May 28 through June 4.
During the limited engagement, Forte will offer custom tattoo sessions reflecting his signature style and deep spiritual approach to the art form. Guru Tattoo, a respected San Diego studio with two locations and more than 20 years in business, is known for hosting elite guest artists and provides an ideal setting for this collaboration. Forte has also appeared on Guru Tattoo’s popular podcast, Chats and Tatts, hosted by owner and tattoo artist Aaron Della Vedova. Appointments are limited and expected to fill quickly.
“In today’s world of people outsourcing their creativity to AI and large language models which then in turn contributes to the homogenization of many art forms, It was a breath of fresh air to sit down on my podcast and get to know Dillon Forte," says Guru Tattoo owner Aaron Della Vedova. "His deep consideration of reality and how his artistic expression relates to it made for a very inspiring conversation to say the least. He is definitely one of those unicorns that is still bringing us his art straight from his soul. It is for this reason and many more than I am extremely honored to host him here at Guru Tattoo!”

Known globally for his intricate dotwork, blackwork, mandala, and sacred geometry tattoos, Forte has built a reputation as one of the most distinctive and influential artists in modern tattooing. His work blends ancient symbolism with contemporary design, attracting clients from around the world.
Forte’s career includes tattooing high profile clients such as Usher and Chris Hemsworth, along with extensive global travel for conventions, exhibitions, and residencies. His San Diego appearance offers a rare opportunity for Southern California residents to work with an artist whose work transcends traditional tattooing and functions as deeply personal, symbolic art. Booking details and availability will be announced directly through Dillon Forte and Guru Tattoo channels.
