Seattle and Bellevue-based tattoo artist and accomplished drummer Owen Paulls is stepping in on drums for Los Angeles rock group Alibis for their upcoming West Coast tour. In addition to his award-winning black and grey tattoo work, Paulls has over a decade of professional touring experience, having played drums in UK bands The Exposed and Jamison. He has toured extensively with acts including Alkaline Trio, Rancid, and Agent Orange, including four consecutive summers on the Vans Warped Tour.

The tour kicks off on October 25 in Los Angeles and continues through key West Coast cities, with shows in Seattle, Portland, Tacoma, and Eugene. Fans can expect high-energy performances as Paulls joins Alibis, bringing his combined expertise in visual and musical artistry to the stage.
Originally from the South Coast of England, Paulls transitioned into tattooing in 2012 and has since earned international recognition for his smooth blending, intricate textures, and European-influenced style. Alongside tattooing, he maintains a fine art practice creating oil paintings inspired by classical European traditions. This unique blend of visual and musical artistry makes him a perfect fit for this special run of Alibis shows.
California-based band Alibis brings electrifying, dramatic music born from frontwoman Rainy Terrell’s classical training in opera, piano, and theatre. Blending rock, classical, electronic, and pop influences, Rainy’s bold melodies and unapologetic lyrics are matched by guitarist Kris Ferris’ dark, heavy riffs and drummer Cameron Franklin’s powerful rhythms. Fully formed in 2023, Alibis has crafted a signature sound that’s both intense and immersive, and they’re hitting the road this week with Owen Paulls on drums to share their music with audiences across the West Coast.
