Me And The Captain Release “What Ifs” Feat. Richard Rogers Of Secrets

The SoCal metal group is wrapping new music in the studio and delivers their massive cover of Kane Brown’s 2017 smash hit

(ORANGE COUNTY, CA) November 14, 2018 - Southern California metal act Me And The Captain have re emerged after a 5 year hiatus with plans to release multiple new tracks including their newly released cover of Kane Brown’s “What Ifs”. The track features guest vocals from Richard Rogers, vocalist of the rock group Secrets. Listeners can preview the track now on Youtube, Spotify and Apple Music.

Me And The Captain have been holed up in the studio working on a series of new singles that include metal takes on recent pop singles. The band have tapped their longtime friend Kris Comeaux (Lorene Drive, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) to produce the tracks and “What Ifs” is the first of many new singles to come throughout late 18’ and early 2019. Since forming in 2011, the Orange County group has seen success with their original music and garnered nearly 500,000 plays of covers of LMFAO’s "Party Rock Anthem" and Ylvis' What Does the Fox Say?.

Fans of Me And The Captain know the band for their pirate themed lifestyle, visuals and lyrics that revolve around throwing one hell of a party, and they even have their own swords (guitars), ship (tour van) and a group of seamen (road crew) in tow everywhere they go. The Captain and his crew are hard to miss, as many have caught them live at past years’ Vans Warped Tour stops, major festivals and supporting some of the scene’s best acts including A Static Lullaby.
