March Sweetness: Strickland’s Ice Cream of Costa Mesa Reveals New Flavor of the Day Lineup

Strickland’s Ice Cream of Costa Mesa has released its Flavor of the Day calendar for March 2026, giving Orange County dessert lovers a preview of the limited-time flavors arriving throughout the month. Standout flavors on the schedule include Mud Pie on March 13, Strawberry Oreo on March 14, Lavender on March 19, Black Forest Cherry on March 22, and Pistachio on March 29.

In addition to its rotating flavors, Strickland’s continues its popular Milkshake Mondays promotion each week from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., where guests receive a free upsizing on their milkshake.

The Costa Mesa shop is also celebrating its 2nd year near Triangle Square, while the Ohio-based company marks an impressive milestone: 90 years in business. Founded in 1936 in Akron, Ohio, Strickland’s has remained a generational favorite for nearly a century, known for producing dense, rich ice cream made in small batches using vintage-style machines, premium ingredients, real fruit, and real nuts.

Owned by longtime Strickland's fan and franchise owner Neil Liu, the Costa Mesa location opened in early 2024 and has quickly become the West Coast home of the beloved brand. The shop keeps fans coming back with its monthly Flavor of the Day calendar, shared on Instagram, which builds excitement around seasonal and limited-time flavors that often sell out. As Strickland’s approaches its 100th year in business, the brand continues honoring its legacy while building new traditions for families in both Ohio and Southern California.
