(SAN DIEGO, CA) - DEC 14, 2023 - San Diego based group Doll Riot is set to play Punk Rock Bowling the weekend of May 24-27, 2024. The all-girl punk rock group are in company of legendary bands playing the festival including Descendents, Devo, Scowl, Madness, Gorilla Biscuits and more. Doll Riot is the definition of DIY and hard work ethic, closing in on over 70 shows played in 2023 and releasing multiple singles that are making waves across punk/rock playlists, blogs and winning fans at each and every live show. Thes young, longtime friends have a bright future ahead, as they just exited the studio making their debut full length with producer Alex Estrada (Touché Amore, Joyce Manor, Silver Snakes, and Rotting Out).
Fresh out of the studio and roaring back to the stage, this rebellious quartet has catapulted into the vibrant music scene of San Diego, leaving an indelible mark across the West Coast. Their journey has been a whirlwind of adrenaline-fueled performances alongside iconic bands like Agent Orange, Poison Hearts, Spray Allen, Death Valley Girls, Luby Sparks, and a slew of others. For aficionados of punk rock, Doll Riot’s sound evokes the spirit of the "riot girl" genre that once defined the clandestine vibes of the 90s underground scene. Fans of L7, Hole, Bratmobile, Lunachicks, and Bikini Kill are sure to be impressed, and the upcoming album promises to keep that unique Doll Riot sound while experimenting with some fresh ideas.
